Why We Exist
The Information Crisis Demanded a New Kind of Institution.
Every generation faces a defining challenge. For ours, it's not the lack of information—it's the weaponization of it.
Misinformation isn't just noise. It's a strategy. And traditional institutions can't keep up.
We built Veremet because the world needed something new: not another fact-checker, but a Public Intelligence Utility—open, transparent, and powered by the collective wisdom of truth-seekers everywhere.
The Name: Veremet
Our name is a fusion of two ancient concepts of truth:
Veritas
Latin
Logical, scientific truth—the kind that can be measured, tested, and verified through evidence.
Emet
Hebrew
Authentic, moral truth—the kind that requires context, wisdom, and human understanding.
Together, they signify "Truth-Truth"—a recognition that real consensus requires both the rigor of data and the nuance of human judgment.
The Factfulness Framework
Information chaos exploits your instincts. Inspired by Hans Rosling's Factfulness, we built tools to help you fight back:
The Gap Instinct
We show data distributions rather than binary "us vs. them" narratives. Reality exists on a spectrum.
The Negativity Instinct
We provide long-term context and trend data, not just immediate crisis reporting. Progress is often invisible.
The Fear Instinct
We separate "frightening" from "dangerous" through evidence. Perceived risk isn't the same as real risk.
The Single Perspective Instinct
We merge multiple data sources and viewpoints into a unified dossier. No single source owns the truth.
The Verifiers
This isn't a platform. It's a movement.
The Verifiers are intellectually curious individuals who refuse to accept narratives at face value. They dig deeper. They question sources. They contribute evidence. And they hold each other accountable.
We've shifted from "Judgment" to "Collaboration." From "Verdicts" to "Transparency." From anonymous editors to public, accountable truth-seekers.
Our Mission
Truth, Together.
The Truth Doesn't Find Itself.
Join thousands of Verifiers building the world's first transparent Consensus Graph.
